Super rare Fender Victor Bailey 5 string acoustic bass. Rare as in I challenge you to find one anywhere for sale. I looked for a couple years before I found this one. If you’re not familiar with Victor Bailey, he replaced Jaco with Weather Report and was an amazing studio player. He passed away in 2016, which just adds even more to the collectibility. It has a slight nick in the clearcoat on the back, bottom side that’s definitely not noticeable when being played. Other than that it’s pretty mint.
I’m only parting ways with it because I recently picked up an endorsement from another company so there’s no point in having a bass I can’t play out. It’s an amazing condition for a 23-year-old instrument.
