Vintage 1970s Simms Watts AP100 100w 4x12 Amplifier Cabinet Goodmans & Celestion
Built like a tank in the 70s, this cabinet is a true powerhouse. Extremely rare & sought after! You’ll not find a sound like this, and a build quality to this extreme! Complete with Goodmans & Celestion speakers, and brand new castors to make this that bit more transportable.
Please note: this is pictured with the matching Simms Watts AP100 head, which is not included in this listing, but is for sale on our other items. If you're interested in the matching set up, get in contact.
Serial Number: 2876
Impedance: 8ohms
Speakers: 2x Goodmans Audiom 12P-D, 1x Goodmans Audiom 12P, 1x Celestion G12M
Watts: 100w (3x speakers are 50w, 1x is 25w so will need to be ran at 100w safely)
Condition
Overall very good condition, with only slight wear and tear to the tolex. There has been a previous split to the corner of the cabinet, but this has been clamped and glued, making it even more secure than original. The cabinet is missing the Simms Watts front logo.
Originality
Externally original. However, the 4x speakers have been changed in the past, but sound as good, if not better, than the original Simms Watts speakers.
At The Music Locker we will do all we can for you to get the instrument you want. You're more than welcome to come and have a play on this, coupled with one of our vintage guitars!
