Sherwood Green and Black Satellite Les Paul. Stunning one-off restoration of a vintage Made in Japan (MIJ) guitar.
All original parts apart from new tuners and replacement pushback cloth wiring.
Pickup outputs are very healthy at 5.00 bridge and 5.37 neck.
Weighs in at around 8lb/3.6kg.
Very comfortable slim neck. Some shrinkage around pearloid fret markers (see photos) which are stable and it doesn’t affect playability at all. Fretboard and frets fine wire-wooled and lemon oil applied. Frets show little sign of wear even at the nut end (see photo).
5-ply binding has mellowed to a lovely vintage cream.
