I had never seen a MIJ version of one of these and never really paid any attention to the Gibsons....they are so "un-Gibson". This came in the shop recently and I love it!
You can get some very, well.."un-Gibson" sounds of it and now I see that is a feature, not a but!
It's a great copy of the original...down to the pickups and the unique switching (it's a 2 way switch....I thought it was broken at first but that's how it is supposed to be)
Very cool guitar and you won't find many Maya S-1s out there!
