One off the bests Gipsy Jazz guitare from the 50’

One off the model choose by Django Reinhard

Very typical sound, neck easy to play, good action

Please see my report at the end of this description! Thanks

Action at the 12 frets is 4mm bass side

And 3 mm treble side

Original from the fifties

No neck reset, no refinish

REPORT :

After camera endoscopic examination

the small slot in the wood near the pickguard does not cross the thickness of the wood so the problem is cosmetic only.

please note two things

A. Di-Mauro dug the top to insert the pickguard and consequently there is a very fine slit at the left of the Pickguard. this change nothing in the sound or in the structural status.

same thing with the inserts around the mouth…but again it’s a near invisible and cause no sound or structural problems

Not a big deal but, interesting to know.
