The Coba S has been an Anderson favorite for a long time now. In 1996, Cobra S took its rightful place alongside the renown Cobra, to add the same Cobra crush to the "S" body style. However, the 'S' designation stands for short scale, in this case 24.75 inch.
The mahogany body has a beautiful flamed maple top with 'Tortoise' finish. It offers that sleek superstrat look and feel making it very comfortable to play. It has also gotten a couple modifications which really add to its versatility. Most notably, the bridge has been replaced with a Fishman TSV Powerbridge which means that this guitar is even capable of producing more acoustic sounds. For the TSV Powerbridge, an extra volume control has been added, while both volume and tone knobs have a push/pull function to split both humbuckers. Finally, the 5-way switch has been replaced with a 3-way.
It's obvious that this guitar offers a wide array of possibilities to shape your sound and even with acoustic sounds at its disposal, this might be a perfect stage guitar that can do it all! It even has a pick holder on the back of the headstock! It also looks very clean for its age and is still in very good condition. Besides some playwear, it has a few dings, and a little weatherchecking between the bridge and controls.
Includes a hardshell case with TFOA passport.
