A Mint Condition, 2006, Made in Korea, Danelectro DC-59 12 String in Sunburst. We are not only selling this beautiful guitar but have included the shown, now impossible to find, 90's Danelectro Gigbag that looks great and fits the guitar perfectly!

As most of you know, our shop sells a lot of vintage Danelectro Guitars. I have been noticing these newer Danelectros and wanted a first hand look. One of my Finders had this one from 2006. I don't think it was ever played! Even the plastic protection is still on the back of the tuners! I was impressed. The build quality is excellent and they used very high end products, including the vintage style Aluminum nut! Loved the look of the Sunburst model and it didn't disappoint. Its beautiful and a joy to play. One of the easiest 12 strings I have ever handled. No sore fingers with this one!!

That signature jangle

The two single-coil Lipstick pickups in the DC-59 have a one-of-a-kind tone that captured the imagination of so many guitarists over the last six decades. With their coils wrapped around an Alnico VI magnet and then wrapped in tape, these pickups harken back to the vintage tone of rock's earliest days. The result is a sound that truly stands alone — jangly, with a punchy midrange and a treble kick. And with a 3-way pickup selector, plus stacked volume and tone controls for each pickup, you'll have a lot of options for dialing in your ideal tone for any track.

Masonite semi hollow body, 25 inch scale neck of Pao Ferro, the nut measures 1 3/4 inches, three way switch and stacked Volume and tone knobs..Just like the vintage ones! I must say, the intonating bridges they are using now are a huge upgrade from the originals. Almost, makes me want to add them to my vintage Danos...almost...LOL.. Remember, this is one of the good ones still made in Korea. Not like the newer ones from China and Indonesia.

Check out the cool, hard to find, Tweed Danelectro Gigbag...very cool and looks great with this cool Dano 12... Used but zippers all still work and its pretty clean for its age.
