Duesenberg Double Cat Black 2023

The Double Cat is another, very independent model from the Duesenberg portfolio. Unlike the Starplayer, which is built as semi-acoustic, the Cat has a massive body made of first-class alder with large resonance chambers. The advantages of this construction are a characteristic, lively tone and reduced weight.

With the Starplayer, the Cat shares the proven pickup combination of Domino P-90 and Grand Vintage humbucker. The middle position of the heavy-duty 3-way switch is particularly popular, as it uses a special circuit to specifically filter out bass components from the humbucker sound. The resulting sound expands the sound palette with a sound that is unique in its openness, freshness and versatility.
