Kay A Style Mandolin

Strung with a brand new set of DR rare 11-40 as of posting this. Not a looker, but she’s well loved and well played but not by me. I’m a guitarist not a mandolin player, just needs a little love to take it there. Has some holes from a pickguard on top and side of body and neck. Rings out good all the way up on the high strings, but the lower strings are buzzing out above the 12th fret. Stiff original tuners you might want to replace. Like I said I’m not an expert I tried to provide very detailed photos, what you buy is what you get. No buyers remorse if it’s not up to your standards. In my opinion this is a beautiful instrument but I’m not good enough to be a mandolin player, hope this finds a home with somebody who loves it. Has recent neck reset, I think the buzzing is because it didn’t get a fret level and recrown no issues otherwise that I know of with my experience level except cosmetically, and the tuners being old. Screws aren’t holding bridge together just glued in with wood glue to hide the holes, has washers to get the action right. Original thumb wheels don’t exist, not included in sale.
