With special attention to a lively and finely articulated sound with musical warmth, Paul Reed Smith chooses only high-quality woods for the PRS Paul's Guitar. Accordingly, the electric guitar has a mahogany body with a solid curly maple top and a glued mahogany neck with a fretboard of Honduran rosewood, in which elegant brushstroke bird inlays mark the positions. The not-too-strong "Pattern" neck profile with the perfect rounding also ensures optimal playing characteristics.

For the pickup of PRS Paul's Guitar Eriza Verde Paul Reed Smith chooses two TCI humbuckers. Optimally tuned to the electric guitar in terms of capacitance and inductance (TCI), the pickups deliver a particularly musical and detailed sound on the guitar amplifier, which skilfully translates every playing nuance in both the clean and overdrive channels. Two mini-switches between the Volume and Tone controls also allow individual splitting of the humbuckers, so that the sound repertoire is supplemented by glassy single-coil sounds with a brilliant treble spectrum.

Last but not least, the PRS Paul's Guitar Eriza Verde is completed by hardware that is optimally matched to the instrument. On the body, the proven PRS wraparound tailpiece is used, which supports the finely articulated tone of the electric guitar with brass inserts in the compensated string rest.
