Unique model assembled in France.
This partcaster is inspired by Keith Richards' mythical guitar, which he named "Micawber" refering to a Charles Dickens character. Based on a 1953 Telecaster in Butterscoth finish donated by Eric Cllapton, a Gibson PAF has been added as neck pickup to give it more gain. Keith Richards has been using "Open G" tuning without the low E string on this guitar since the mid-60s. This tuning is the basis of his riffs on songs such as Brown Sugar.
On this guitar, the humbucker is a replica of the PAF 59 hand-wound by QPickups. It's also splittable with a push-pull on the tone.
