Here for sale we have a Schecter Traditional Van Nuys in Gloss Natural Ash finish. Built in Indonesia in 2020, this guitar features an Ash body, a Vintage 'C' profile Roasted Maple neck and fingerboard, 22 jumbo frets, Schecter Locking machine heads, along with three Schecter USA pickups - MonsterTone single coils in the neck and middle positions, and a SuperRock Vintage humbucker in the bridge position. The pickups are controlled with master volume and tone pots, a 5-way blade switch and a push/pull coil split.

The Vintage ‘C’ neck in satin finish is quick and smooth to play, allowing for fluid leads and effortless thumb positioning. The jumbo fret wire feels rock solid, providing a great playing surface that well accommodates bending. The dual cutaways and traditional ‘S’ contours feel familiar while the slightly contoured neck heel adds some modern playability.

The single coil pickups in neck and middle position are crisp and bell-like, providing excellent chime and articulation, reminiscent of 80s super strat tones - pair with chorus and you’re set! The humbucker in bridge position is thick and powerful sounding without having an imbalanced output relative to the single coils. It drives the front end of an amp well and has a cutting and punchy midrange. The coil split on the tone pot splits the coils of the humbucker, allowing for more traditional SSS tones and blends very well with the neck and middle pickups, with a very similar voice, a balance not often found in HSS coil splits.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall good condition. Light scuffing on the front face tip of the headstock and around the truss rod cavity. There is also a small indentation on the treble side front face, marking the finish. The treble side edge and treble side back face has a small white mark.  

Neck: Overall very good condition. Rear of the neck has minor indentation around the 5th/6th fret.

Body: Overall excellent condition. Minimal signs of use. Protective plastic is still present on the cavity covers. 

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use. There is considerable material remaining for any future work the new owner may wish to perform.

Truss Rod Condition: Fully functional & can be adjusted

Hardware Condition: Excellent condition. Minor scratching to the bridge humbucker cover. Tremolo arm not included.
