3M 996 1” Mastering Tape NOS

Holy grail find of 8 NOS reels of 3M 996 1” Mastering Tape. I aquired these a few weeks ago from a studio auction. To my surprise they have never been used and were kept in a tempertaure controlled facility since their purchase. As you can see the reels are tight and still have factory tape seal. Being cautious, I would still bake these to be safe, but from inpection they seem as tho they have not aged a day. I only tested 1 reel to make sure of this, and as expected, there was no residue or any stickiness. I did not pass audio to tape as I was purely inspecting the quality.
