Delivering 20db of transparent, natural sounding gain, this makes any amp sound better. It seems to open everything up to the point of not wanting to turn it off. Many pros use this pedal at the end of their effects chain, restoring clarity and adding drive, and they never switch it off. This is not a full-blown overdrive, though with the gain cranked, it delivers a nice warm edge.
