Guild Surfliner Deluxe EVG

The Surfliner Deluxe adds completely new features to the Surfliner platform. Introducing Guild's first-ever roasted maple neck, for a dark aged appearance with added stiffness and strength. A bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays complements the satin-finished 25.5-inch C-shaped neck for a smooth playing experience. Developed for the Surfliner Deluxe, the new Guild Floating Vibrato Tailpiece (GFVT) opens the Surfliner platform to new playing styles, allowing for a wide range of vibrato effects, from subtle flutter to deep waves. The GFVT features a nylon insert and easy-to-access tensioning screw for ultimate bar tension control. Features an embossed "G" for classic Guild DNA. Featuring an HB-2 bridge humbucker with Alnico II magnets, the HB-2 was designed to recreate the rich, warm tone of vintage Guild humbuckers in a standard format. The HB-2 pairs perfectly with the ringing single-coil tones of the two DeArmond Aerosonic middle and neck pickups. The Surfliner Deluxe has a classic 5-way blade switch for the first time. This instantly recognizable pickup switching provides quick one-touch access from rhythm to solo tones. Solid Poplar Body with Vintage-Inspired Offset Look The new Surfliner Deluxe is constructed from a lightweight solid poplar body and features a gloss finish and matching headstock, available in Evergreen Metallic, Rose Quartz Metallic and Black Metallic.
