I got this guitar used so I can't verify it's history. Interestingly, the body has a date stamp of Feb. 2013, while the neck is marked Feb. 2009. Both are identified with model numbers consistent with the AVRI '57 Stratocaster. I have included a bunch of pictures including the small chips near the neck pocket and the neck plate. Aside from these small blemishes the guitar is in excellent condition. The electronics look to be untouched and there is little if any fretwear. The guitar plays great with low action, unusual for a vintage radiused neck.
The guitar will ship in the case and with the unopened accessory package shown.
I've done a little more research and found out that, according to the Fender Serial Number Lookup, the serial number belongs to a 2013 Vintage Hot Rod 62 Strat OWT. The Neck is definitely a 57 reissue neck with a V profile. The body is labeled as a 57 reissue would be. The electronics most likely belonged to the 57 reissue, since the 2 and 4 positions are not hum cancelling as they would be on a Hot Rod Reissue. So, it looks like this guitar is put together from parts of two guitars with the neck plate coming from a 3rd.
Whatever the case, it plays, sounds and looks great and it seems the previous owner took the parts he liked best from all of them.
