About This Listing

Vintage McGohan WA-330-A Mono Tube amplifier, rare, original, nice cosmetics, nice chrome, all vintage USA tubes, point to point wiring, 8/16 ohm speaker outputs, 1950s, USA. It has the incomparable vintage McGohan design, craftsmanship, attention to detail, parts quality, transformer quality, fit, finish and potential performance that only vintage USA tube amps can offer. It uses 2 6SN7s, 1 5U4, and 2 6L6/KT66/ power tubes. It is an ultra linear design. It has been stored inside a climate controlled non smoking environment. It is nice cosmetically with only a few small nicks, scuffs and scratches, see pictures. These were a limited production amplifier. I did power it on and powered it up with a variac for safety. It does produce output, but had a noticeable 60HZ hum that was audible. It will need the typical and necessary power supply cap upgrades and attention. See the pics of the beautiful point to point wiring and design. It has lots and lots of potential as these are known for their excellent sound quality and musicality. It has large heavy quality chrome transfomers, very cool. It has a very nice custom bottom cover with feet that is included. It will be sold as described, as is, needs restortion/repair, good transformers, all original, no worries, see my feedback. It is approximately 20 watt output with 2 6L6 power tubes. The shipping cost includes safe packing, insurance, prompt shipping and tracking number. Buy with confidence, see my feedback. Good listening, SonnY :)
