About This Listing

The September 2010 issue of Guitar World ranked the Mockingbird as "the coolest guitar of all time".
Part of the NJ series ("Nagoya, Japan", not "New Jersey"), this was a Japanese made beast of a bass that will shake just about any wall you put in front of it. Maple body, "Super Wood" Stratabond neck with an ebonic fingerboard (24 frets, 860mm scale length), weighs just over 4kg's.
Given a full professional service and setup including a fret polish, truss adjustment and restring. Frets have plenty of life left and the neck is straight, seems all original except for maybe some new pots (two volumes, a master tone and a 3-way pickup selector). This one inexplicably has the first 4 frets of the G string scalloped along with the first fret of the E string. While it may look odd, it's actually very comfortable to play.

Shipping: Domestic - We offer a courier service Australia wide on our guitars! All prices include insurance for loss/damage along with industrial packaging to ensure your guitar arrives safely. International - We ship worldwide almost as often as we ship domestically. We use EMS or UPS express services depending on the destination.
Returns:  We only offer returns on faulty or broken items, not if you change your mind. All guitars are thoroughly tested here and we'll do our best to list any known troubles in the condition section above.

Click & Collect and local pickup available from our store at 14/33 College Street Gladesville, Sydney.
