EWC (Exotic Wood Custom)" is made from the finest selection of precious woods from all over the world.
The top wood selected for the "EWC (Exotic Wood Custom)" is Japanese "tochi" (horse chestnut), which is distributed mainly in eastern Japan and is known as a high-grade wood. A clear acrylic pickguard is installed to make the most of the fine flame grains that stand out.
The quarter-sawn maple neck has a fingerboard made of bloodwood from South America. As the name suggests, bloodwood is a bright reddish wood that is hard, durable, and rare.
Mojotone pickups hand-wired in North Carolina, U.S.A., are mounted on the pickups. Alnico 5 magnets and fiber bobbins are used.
An Aguilar OBP-2 preamplifier is installed for the active specification, and the sound can be made up with a 2-band EQ.
The brown coloring with wood grain is combined with black and gold hybrid hardware.
