Early 80's Slingerland Magnum Snare Drum With TDR Strainer
8 x 14 with a 5-Ply maple shell and natural lacquered interior.
Very good condition overall. Complete, structurally sound, and in excellent working order.
Original jet black wrap is clean and holing well at the seams. The finish shows some light surface scuffs/scratches around the drum.
Bearing edges are original, even, and take modern heads nicely. There are a couple cosmetic scuffs in the batter edge, no dings or wear. Heads tension easily.
Chrome hardware works well and is clean with some minor scuffs and scratches from normal use/age. TDR strainer adjusts properly and stays in place. Fitted with new Canopus wires.
Complete and ready to go.

Bearing edges are original and take modern heads nicely. We were able to tune the drum and achieve even tension around the shell.
