There are few players as imposing as Tosin Abasi. As lead songwriter and guitarist of progressive metal giants Animals as Leaders, he is known for his complex composition and virtuoso lead playing. Tosin first started designing guitars way back in 2017 under his own company Abasi Concepts. Tosin's creativity certainly shone through and its easy to see why these guitars have such a cult following! Were extremely exited to present Tosin's latest project. Back in 2022 Tosin teamed up with our good friends at Ernie Ball Music Man to design an instrument unlike anything before. Introducing, the Kaizen!

The Music Man Kaizen is the latest addition to Tosin's seriously stacked signature lineup. Built for the modern player the Kaizen is crafted with forward-thinking design concepts guided by Tosin's unique playing style and vision. The kaizen benefits from a strong and punchy Alder body finished in the super slick Indigo Blue which looks great under lights. it really accentuates the curves and figure of the body. It is beautifully weighted and super well balanced. The ergonomic design is a real treat to play.

The Roasted Figured Maple neck boasts an Ebony fingerboard adorned with some awesome white dot inlays. One of the Kaizen's defining features is the revolutionary Infinity Radius that provides improved visibility of the fretboard in any playing position. This conical design peaks along the treble side of the fingerboard and folds towards the player. Thanks to the 24 Medium Jumbo Stainless Steel Frets and of course a 24.75"-25.65 Scale Length you will have a premium playing experience, this setup is super comfortable, allowing for quick and easy movements all across the Fingerboard.

A band like Animals as Leaders is full of complex, intricate and varied guitar styles, because of this, Tosin requires a pickup load out that is up to the challenge. A Music Man Mini Humbucker in the Neck and a Music Man HT Humbucker in the bridge provide all the crushing tones you can possibly imagine. Overall the Kaizen pickups give ultra-high-output, powerful low-end response while retaining a distinctively clean, clear tone and definition at lower volume levels.

The custom Multi-Scale tremolo provides a stable and comfortable playing platform, and in conjunction with Steinberger Locking Gearless tuners you can play all night long without tuning issues.
