About This Listing

For sale is this vintage Gibson S-1 from around 1976. These guitars from Gibson were the answer to the Fender Stratocaster and it is probably the Gibson that sounds the closest to a Stratocaster! This Gibson is definitely worth the buy if you are looking for special Gibsons or if you look for a guitar that will make the eye get caught on stage.

This Gibson is definitely been played and the condition is very good. The fretboard is cleaned and the frets are polished. The frets don't have that much life left and could be considered to do a refret but they are original if this is your preference. The original tuners were not very steady and are replaced by Gotoh tuners. Also, one potmeter is probably replaced. All the user marks are tried to picture as accurately as possible.

The guitar will be sold with a non-original but vintage hard case. Also a very cool vintage Gibson strap is included. It can be safely shipped worldwide. Please check the import qualifications and VAT for your country. I tried to picture everything as accurately as possible. Please send me a message if you have any questions or if you need more pictures of a specific part.
