TC Electronic Konnekt 24D Audio Interface

The Konnekt 24D is a firewire audio interface that gained its popularity from the mic pres, suitability for stand-alone operation, onboard DSP (channel strip and reverb), and consistent driver updates that kept it up to date with current operating systems (and also compensated for the initial drivers being released prematurelye, it's 12 in/12 out (including ADAT I/O) with 4 analog line ins and 4 analog line outs. Two of the analog ins are paralleled on the front panel as mic/hi-Z inputs with combo jacks. Typical used prices on eBay are around $200.

The stand-alone aspect is particularly interesting if you need two quality mic pres or instrument inputs, because the onboard DSP works without a computer (however you do need a computer to set up the parameters as desired).

TC released drivers for Mac, Windows 64-bit, and Windows 32-bit less than a year ago; Mac compatibility for the "Near" applet is Mavericks up to and including Sierra. Unfortunately I can't test the system with all supported systems so it's up to the buyer to determine if their system is compatible. TC's support page for the Konnekt 24D is very good, with current and most legacy drivers, as well as manuals in multiple languages.

The unit includes the original packaging and accessories (power supply, quick start guide, CD-ROM although its software is outdated - get the new drivers from the web site).
