For Sale is a vintage mid-‘70s Univox High Flyer Bass. This thing oozes pure vibe and would be equally at home at the studio or on stage. The body shape is based on revered Mosrite designs favored by artists ranging from Brian Wilson to Billy Gibbons to Kurt Cobain and everything in-between.

The fast playing 30” scale neck features a dark rosewood fretboard and low, easy-to-play frets for maximum funk power. It’s got a simple control layout consisting of a 3-way pickup selector, Volume, and Tone controls. Everything you need to quickly dial in the perfect tone is at-the-ready, and this thing just sounds great no matter how the controls are set.

The Black nitro finish certainly shows it’s age. This bass has seen it’s fair share of gigs; a sure sign that it was appreciated and got played a lot! The flat-wound strings are perfectly seasoned, and the action is right where it should be for perfect articulation. The electronics have been cleaned and the fretboard, conditioned.

The tuners have been changed out for German-made Schallers for precise tuning; critical for short scale basses. The 3-piece maple neck is super stable, with no twists or humps that would compromise tone. Everything about this bass just feels right! A padded gigbag is included for easy transport and safe storage.
