KING SNAKE continues to produce instruments of extremely high precision at its workshop in Japan.

The initial concept of the brand was to produce full acoustic guitars with a strong awareness of "dirty" tone.

So-called "Hakomono" guitars are often used in the jazz scene, and there is a relatively strong public image that they are actually used in such scenes.

This in itself is not wrong, but KING SNAKE strongly insists that this is not the only attraction of full acoustic guitars.

It is possible to get a drive sound with a full-up amp and make a fat sound, and we aimed for a tone that can play an active part in country and blues.

KING SNAKE guitars are manufactured with the hope that they will be used by a variety of players regardless of genre, thereby revitalizing the music market. ......

As mentioned above, KING SNAKE is a manufacturer with a strong focus on "Hako-Mono" guitars, but this time we have a solid body model with an original shape!

This is a completely new electric guitar, "Mamba," equipped with only one TV Jones pickup!

The name of this guitar is the snake of the same name. The Black Mamba, for example, is the most venomous and feared snake in Africa.

It is characterized by its agility and aggressiveness, as well as its toxicity. This guitar is characterized by its sharp highs and bite that embody such habits.

The simple specs of only one pickup make it easy to handle, and its crisp tone is ideal for rock and roll.

Both the body and neck are made of mahogany. Mahogany wood is known for its beautiful low-mids, but it is also quite heavy.

However, this model is made of mahogany, and its shape and size have been carefully studied to achieve a weight in the low 3kg range despite its mahogany body!

Of course, the weight of the wood varies from one individual to another, but it is an attractive model that is often finished in a lightweight manner and excels in handling.

The fingerboard is 240mm in radius for high playability, and the neck is a little thicker, but it is comfortable to hold, and it adds a thick-boned nuance to the sound.

The nitrocellulose lacquer finish is so thin that it can be scratched by the slightest impact. It also has the feel of a vintage guitar.

The ultra-thin finish makes the most of the sound of the wood, and the overwhelming response, especially in clean to drive tones, is not something that can be imitated.

The Sidewinder has an open pore finish with no grain sealing to reproduce the texture of a snake, but this one is a bit more glossy.

This is a semi-gloss finish rather than the shiny buffed gloss finish, which is a different direction from Sidewinder and reproduces the glossy snake scales.

For pickups, after trying various types, only one TV Jones Magna'Tron was installed.

As you can see, this is a humbucker PU like the Filter Tron, but the output sound is a crisp tone reminiscent of the Dyna-Sonic.

This is an excellent pickup that has the low noise characteristic of a humbucker structure, but can also output a crisp tone like the single-coil Dyna-Sonic.

Therefore, while it can be used like an LP Jr. guitar, it can be said to be a guitar that can be used for a variety of sound makeups.

The great separation from crunch to overdrive is very pleasant, and even just strumming a chord will bring out a rock and roll sound.

Many people think of mahogany body as having a dark tone, but this guitar has an innovative and clear sound that overturns the existing image.

Of course, the glossy nuance of mahogany is not entirely absent, but it is blended in perfect balance.

This is a good model that can be used for American tones as well as punk rock and other fast-paced music scenes.

This guitar is more user-friendly than it looks, yet aggressive!

We look forward to hearing from you.
