This used unbranded 1/2 size violin is in fair condition. The instrument was made in Germany in the early 1900s and shows that age throughout its body, fret board and case. There is a hairline separation in the seam on the back of the instrument but is not an opening. The case is pretty rough. All of the hinges are present and work properly but the handle is missing. The bottom of the case (or inside floor) feels loose as if it may be hanging on by the interior fabric at this point.
