Here for sale we have an ESP Standard Series Eclipse-I CTM SD in Snow White finish. Built in Japan in 2012 this guitar features a Mahogany body with a Maple top, a Mahogany neck, a 22 fret Ebony fingerboard, Gotoh locking tuners, along with a set of Seymour Duncan SH-1N and SH-4 humbuckers, wired to dual volume & tone controls, a 3-way toggle switch and a push/push coil split.
The gloss finish neck plays well, feeling reasonably slim in the hand, while still retaining a pleasant 'C' shape, balancing playability and ergonomics well, an excellent choice for someone looking for a comfy neck for more technically demanding playing styles. Locking tuners and jumbo frets keep things feeling nice and robust, great for big bends and chunky rhythm playing.
The Seymour Duncan SH-1N and SH-4 pickups, better known as the '59 and the JB, are real modern classics, delivering superb Duncan tone. The lows are deep yet tight, the mids forward and punchy, along with crisp, biting highs, perfect for driven tones where you need to cut through the mix. The push/push coil split gives great versatility for when things get cleaner, offering gorgeous sparkling tones. Overall a really nicely put together guitar, speaking volumes to Japanese build quality.
