Lakewood guitars are produced in Giessen, Germany. The instruments are a reflection of the well known German work ethic; they are build with the highest level of precision and standards.
This dreadnought is equipped with a mahogany back and sides and a spruce top, maple binding, wooden rosette and ebony bridge. The mahogany neck has an ebony fingerboard and rosewood headstock overlay. It provides enough volume and a punchy sound, which makes it particularly suitable for strumming! The cutaway ensures that the entire fingerboard is easy to play and makes this guitar just that little bit more versatile. Extra versatility is also provided by the built-in B-Band pickup which allows you to use it amplified as well.
It has some playwear and dings, especially on the top, but looks clean otherwise. For a guitar that is more than ten years old, it is certainly still in very good condition. Includes a hardshell case with TFOA passport.
