The RR9 (RR9D in Japanese documentation) has an alder body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard with dot inlays, a single Heartfield active humbucker, 22 frets and a fixed bridge with string-through-body design. The difference with the RR8 is that it has a Fender American standard tremolo an a 648 mm scale length (but the same 12" (305 mm) neck radius).
