About This Listing

This little beauty is a point to point hand-wired combo amp from the fantastic Roy Brothers in Germany, who later went on to assemble Dumble and Mesa Boogie Amps in for sale in Europe under the name Kitty Hawk.

It is a direct clone of a 1960s Vox AC 30TB JMI Top Boost amp and sounds every bit as good, if not better. It is completely hand-wired and built exactly like a Vox JMI AC30 Top Boost amp from the 1960s and sounds incredible - better than the only Vox AC TB I have compared her to.

The sound is fantastic - a great English Rock & Blues Sound from the late 60s, really dynamic and warm, just puts a smile on your face every time you play her!

The amp has been used in a studio and has always been extremely well maintained.

All the key parts are original (Transformers etc).

The Celestion speakers were fitted in the late 80s and sound amazing with this amp and suit her perfectly. It is a common upgrade to put the Celestion G12T-75 and they sound fantastic in this amp.

I’m only selling her as I have too many amps - she needs to be played and enjoyed, as that what she was built for!

She can be set at 240 volts or 120 volts for the USA via a button on the top.
