The “Electra"Custom from JJ Guitars is a single cut design offering all the tone you’ve come to expect from a classic, vintage-style set neck guitar with a carved top and two humbuckers. Built using the finest aged Brazilian Mahogany and vintage voiced electronics, this guitar sonically delivers the tone expected from this style of instrument.

This latest generation Electra Custom offers unsurpassed specifications. Genuine aged Brazilian Mahogany is utilized for the construction (body back and one-piece set neck) along with a beautiful, 1-piece curly Maple top. This combination certainly contributes to the tonal balance of the instrument, delivering raw, classic, vintage sound for which we all lust after. The Brazilian Mahogany is so rare there is only enough for a total of eleven Guitars. This is one of them, fresh off tour from the Boutique Guitar Showcase.

JJ Guitars offers a variety of models and options, all of which are lovingly created from the sound up by luthier Jeff Guilford in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. To optimize the tone of these guitars, various pickup models and combinations are offered. The goal is to compliment the sound and balance of the woods used in each guitar. The finishing process is also important, and achieved by using extremely durable, yet thin layers, which allow the instruments to breathe and achieve their full potential. The final process of assembly naturally includes a full setup to exacting tolerances, ensuring effortless playability.
