Sugi Guitars was launched by Makoto Sugimoto, Japan's top guitar builder, who has a wealth of experience in many brands and has received the trust of many famous artists.

The model that arrived this time uses black persimmon, which is a rare material, for the body top material.

The black persimmon, which is said to appear in 1 out of 10,000 trees, is a wood that has been loved since ancient times in Japan because of its grain like ink painting.

However, it is known as a mysterious and rare wood because it is difficult to judge whether this tree is a black persimmon from its appearance before felling.

The body back is made of black Limba (Colina) with beautiful black streaks.

The heavy black Limba body has excellent compatibility with high gain sound. Combined with the ebony material of the fingerboard, it is possible to create a sound without crushing the core of the sound even with intensely distorted sounds.

I ordered a normal maple neck, but luckily, a flame maple was used.

This is a book that uses rare black persimmons that are difficult to receive in the future.
