Original vintage Akai Project 1997 ’nineteen ninetyseven’ CG-112 HB super strat in gorgeous playing condition, freshly teched, and set up with 10’s, complete with warranty card, case candy, and original hardshell case!
Akai set out to make the best “modern” guitar in the world… and succeeded. No expense was spared; gotoh locking tuners, Wilkinson tremolo system, custom pickups, and active electronics system, superfine ebony board with pearl inlays and gold everything. A total yacht.
The ‘97 line was never a commercial success, and thus have flown under the radar until recently, as they’ve become discovered by todays players. Say what you will, this guitar delivers. A truly world class axe, smokes your run of the mill USA Jackson, fender, valley arts, etc.
