Vyse British Invasion Tweed Special - All Valve 2010 - Red Tolex

VyseAmps designs and hand manufactures custom, all-valve, point-to-point wired guitar amplifiers and associated equipment.

It is a cottage industry with workshops in Pinner, North London and other parts of the UK. Everything they make is designed and produced here in the UK and is sold mainly to the British and European markets. They have built a reputation for quality and reliability over the last 20 years, and thus have a strong growing customer base.

As well as selling a wide range of standard and classic ready-built valve amplifiers, VyseAmps offers a unique, custom-built, boutique amp service.

VyseAmps aim is simple - to supply and build the best quality guitar amplifiers to your specification. They will NOT compromise on Tone. They do NOT use mass production techniques. They do NOT use printed circuit boards.

Because the amplifiers are hand-built, they are uniquely able to customise the design to your personal requirements. Many of the designs are intended to modify existing amplifiers, ‘blueprinting’ certain parts of the circuit, redesigning badly thought out sections, or simply upgrading the quality of the components used. The designs available are the distillation from many years of working with valve amplifiers and knowing what makes them sound best.

This example (Serial number 203), hand made by chief engineer, Jason Sampson around 2010, and maintained since is what Vyse call their British Invasion, and was a one off, but has 4 ECC81s in the preamp and has 3 6V6s in the powerstage, into a 12"Celestion G12H, all mounted in a red tolex pine cabinet. This is a relatively lightweight amp, reacts with natural drive as volume increases and takes pedals well.

It features 2 inputs - Normal and High Gain.  Controls areVolume, Gain, Treble, Bass and Mid. It has a Vyse heavy-duty cover.  I will assist with delivery but feel it probably should not travel by courier.
