About This Listing

For sale is a Gibson 1967 Melody Maker in Pelham Blue. The guitar has yellowed over the years making it look a little green. Cool for sure. The instrument is in very good to fine condition. I have owned this since the early 80's. Once again this instrument was never displayed and always slept in its case. There are some dings and various age marks on the finish and around the guitar. The bridge was changed out before I bought it. The gold knobs look to be period but I was told they should be black. Not sure on if they are later, if so they can't be any later than the early 80's. IF someone is knob god and can tell if old let me know what to look for.

Otherwise the guitar is stock original no repairs or re-frets. It is hard to see in the photo's and in person what the pot codes are as they soldered onto the dates. They look to be from 66 or 67. I have included pics.

Nice instrument needs a new home
