Up for sale is a killer and incredibly rare vintage left handed Carvin DC150 from the late 1970’s in very good condition and perfect working order. We just gave it a pro set up with a set of 10-46 gauge strings so it plays amazingly with a straight neck, low action and accurate intonation. The original humbucking pickups sound exceptionally good, and in combination with the three mini toggles and 3-way switch, give you a vast array of sonic possibilities.

Cosmetically, this instrument is pretty clean but does exhibit some mild cosmetic wear that’s consistent with its age. There are numerous tiny dings scattered around the body that are hard to see unless you’re right up on the guitar. We did our best to capture it in the pics. Besides that, there’s also some chips and scratches on the body. The back of the neck is real clean. The original frets are typical for this era (wide and short) and have some mild wear which is mostly limited to frets 1-3. See pics for condition. Just to state the obvious, you don’t see many lefty vintage Carvin’s floating around.

To the best of our knowledge, this instrument appears to be all original, even the brass nut but we’re not 100% sure on that. The solder joints look untouched as well. Comes with the original hard shell case. The guitar weighs 7lbs 14.9oz. The nut width is 1.602”. The neck thickness is .745” at the 1st fret and .900” at the 12th fret.
