Up for grabs is a 1978 (or so) Ibanez Musician MC-200. Very good overall condition for its age. A beautiful neck thru guitar made in Japan by craftsman back in the day, They simply do not make them like this anymore, and these Ibanez Musicians with the neck thru design are about the best production guitars ever made, and certainly the best in their price range. Plays great! A killer guitar!
I bought it to covert to a Jerry Garcia "Wolf Style" guitar, of which this guitar is a beautiful platform to modify. I have other guitars and I am not getting to this project. So off it goes to someone else......
Worst defect is significant belt buckle rash on the back. It is down to the wood over a pretty big area but it is smooth and appears to just need a refinish in that area. No significant fret board wear as is common with some of these. Frets appear to be original, have some minor wear, does not bother me, but a fret redress is all it would need if you are particular about your frets. Bridge pickup volume pot needs replacing, I might get to it if when I find the right part.
