This guitar is a concert classical made using high quality materials. The top is a high quality European Spruce top beautifully quartersawn with lots of medullary rays. The back and sides are made using a stunning Padauk recycled from an old London Pub bar top. The neck is made from an old Spanish cedar door that used to hang in the abandoned Estancia that borders our land here in Argentina. In the photos you can see a nail hole that was filled during the construction process, a testament to its previous incarnation. The fretboard is master quality indian ebony and the bridge is East Indian Rosewood. The guitar comes with a CNB hard flight case.
The guitar is a lovely sounding instrument with a good balance between the basses and trebles even across the whole fretboard. It has a very comfortable neck shape and the action is set up for classical players (4mm basses, 3mm trebles). The instrument is also very attractive with all the marquetry and rosette inspired by the work of Torres but with the use of naturally coloured woods such as Padauk, Ossage Orange and walnut to give a very distinctive look.
NOTE: This guitar is in Barcelona, Spain and for Spanish and EU customers there will not be any taxes or import duty, for other world regions all taxes and duty is the responsibility of the customer.
