This vintage refinished Mustang bass has all the mojo and feel you could ask for! Typical amount of vintage playwear including scratches, scuffs, checking, hardware tarnishing/rusting throughout. The back of the neck has a good amount of chips—most prominently closer to the treble-side of the first fret. None of this neckwear is uncomfortable or impeding playability. The frets are in pretty good condition considering the age, and there's no buzz or major intonation issue. The neck feels great and is truly a joy to play. The neck has a slight up-bow and the action is ever so slightly high as you get higher up on the neck, but it's far from being challenging to play or difficult to fret notes. Currently strung with round wounds that have a great amount of gunk/use baked into them. The tone knob is slightly scratchy, but this may go away with use, or can easily be cleaned. Otherwise the electronics function as intended. The bottom strap button spins around but the screw is solid. In addition to the strap button on the horn, there's one on the back of the headstock. On the back of the body, the first and second string ferrules are sized so that the ball ends of the strings protrude slightly out of the body—this doesn't affect functionality or playability. Some parts of the tuners may be non-original, as there look to be some discrepancies in tarnishing. Overall, this is a beautiful looking, feeling and sounding bass that has tons more life to live. Hardshell Fender case included.
