・ Modded for a more "open/airy" drive tone(turbo OFF) and a fat "tweed" tone(turbo ON)

Turbo OFF Has been modded for slightly more bass and treble, creating a more natural "transparent" overdrive tone. It still has a pleasant mid push, but without sounding nasal or honky. The soft clipping topology has been changed from a "asymmetrical 3 diode" layout to a "symmetrical 4 diode" design by adding an NOS 1SS133 diode, exactly the same as the other three. This reduces the compression just a little and helps make the overdrive a little more open sounding.

Turbo ON Has been modded to be fat and full frequency, with a lot of lower-mids. My aim was to make it sound in-between a tweed amp and a blackface amp. Fat with a lot of bass and treble, and almost fuzz like when the gain is cranked. Furthermore, compared to the stock circuit, I have lowered the gain and compression while increasing the headroom, improving note definition and clarity.

Slight increase in output volume for both modes. Addressing the low output issue. With this modded pedal, you do not have to max out the volume to achieve unity. But, it does not have enough output level to be used as a clean boost.

Overdrive tone is highly dependent on the guitar & amp combination, along with personal preference. While I try to show the tonal differences in the video, your actual experience might vary, so please take that in to consideration before making the purchase.

Instead of the ASA adaptor required for old Boss pedals.

Very clean overall for a MIJ OD-2, but has some small nicks and dings. There are a couple of noticeable scratches on the left side, near the output jack. The battery compartment is clean but the rubber grommet for the battery screw was gummed up, sticky and half deteriorated so I removed it completely and cleaned off the sticky residue. The rubber plate on the footswitch is showing the slightest degradation, visible in the photographs, but this is common for rubber material of this age. Similarly, the rubber on the backplate is showing some discoloration, but both are still in good condition without any signs of softening or stickiness. Otherwise, everything works fine, foot switch is good, the pots have a very slight scratchiness when turned, but nothing that stands out.
