About This Listing

Up for sale is a killer 1999 Ampeg ADA6 Dan Armstrong Lucite Guitar MIJ Reissue in excellent condition and perfect working order. We just gave it a pro set up with a set of 10-46 gauge strings so it plays amazingly with a straight neck, low action and accurate intonation. The original single blade “ Rock Treble“ pickup sounds wonderful with lots of clarity, glassy high end and bite.

Cosmetically, this instrument is insanely clean and has been well taken care of over the years. That’s really an understatement. This axe looks like it’s hardly been played and exhibits no fret wear with full crowns. There’s really not much to say here other than there’s some mild swirling and light scratching from handling and cleaning. See pics for condition and please excuse any reflections. Just to state the obvious, these early reissues are hard to find these days, especially in Smoke. They just don’t come up for sale very often.

To the best of our knowledge, this instrument is all original save for the knobs. Comes with a nice non-original Gator hard case that’s fits well. The guitar weighs 8lbs 15.6oz. The nut width is 1.65”. The neck thickness is .840” at the 1st fret and .950” at the 12th fret.
