The Princess Isabella is so more much than a beautiful guitar. The sound of it is like nothing else. Jens Ritter designed this solid body guitar to sound like a hollowbody - the best hollowbody you have ever heard!

The 3 special sound-creating features of the Princess Isabella are:

• Body Thickness: The body is unusually thin, measuring approximately one inch in thickness. This width has in comparison to the string tension an exactly calculated instability which slows down the guitar's solid-body-sound-characteristics.
• String Attachment: The backside mounted elastic string attachment bows function as an "attack delay" mechanism. They are made of similar material like spring steel.
• "Semi-floating" Bridge: Instead of using a traditional bridge or attaching the bridge with studs into the body, the hand cast bridge foot is "mounted" into a small hollowed area carved into the body that exactly matches the contour of the bridge foot. The bridge foot is held in place by a "friction setting" and only makes contact with a 2mm thin elliptical contour ridge along the hollow area. Thus, most of the surface area on the interior side of the bridge foot and the bridge studs "float" in the hollow area.

The Sound Results: The combination of these exclusive features create a hollowbody acoustic resonance, which results in a warm and open tone typically found only in a hollowbody guitar.

Our setups always include inspection of (and necessary adjustment to): action, intonation, tremolo angle, truss rod, frets, nut, bridge, and more. Case: Custom Ritter Flight case

Cosmetic condition: excellent condition.  The knobs have some markings and the backplate has some tarnishing as well.  Otherwise very clean and well maintained. Case has a bit of scuffing on the corners.

Tech Notes: Great medium/low action player with minimal relief in the neck. All hardware and electronics tested in house by our techs were found functioning to manufacturer's specifications. Light fret wear noted during inspection on frets 1-5, this however does not impact setup or playability at all.
