1979 Fender USA Stratocaster 25th Anniversary, serial number 258127 with the matching sticker under the pickguard. The guitar comes in the original hard case with the ashtray and polish cloth! It tunes up and plays great, has fret wear but no dead spots and is pretty smooth in general. The body is heavy, which is typical for these but in good shape. It shows normal playing wear, finish cracks, scratches and scuff. Overall if you're after a great collectable player, this is a good example of the 25th anniversary. It has had some work done, the tuners are not original, they are modern Fender locking tuners. It at one point had a locking nut on it and has 3 plugged holes, two unplugged on the headstock. I don't see anything at the bridge that looks altered - there is a decent scratch, but no cuts or plugs. When they replaced the jack they cut a wire pretty short, so the pickguard won't go all the off freely - see pictures please - what I can see in there looks okay though, stock pickups but I couldn't check the pots. Also we've played it and tested them in shop, everything is working as should. These pickups sound pretty great - I dig the 2 and 4 position for sure.

The case is original, in good used shape for the vintage with good latches and a nice handle. It shows typical player's wear and fits the guitar very well.
