The JJ ECC81/12AT7 is a medium gain pre-amplifying double triode. It can be also used as lower gain replacement for 12AX7 in many applications. The JJ 12at7 produces a very smooth and warm sound with low microphonics. This is a good choice for phase inverters or reverb drivers.
