Let me introduce myself: my name is George Neumann type U67, I was born in a laboratory in Berlin in the freezing Germany of 1962, I am lucky enough to be one of the first 100 specimens produced with care and love by the hands of professionals and masters of microphones ...... I still keep parts of my father, the predecessor U60, (printed circuit board...brass capsules wrapped with wire and more)…..in many years of work and sacrifice I have never had any problems, I have always passed tests and recording sessions audio solving technical problems for demanding sound engineers and producers….. I still have all my original parts as my mother conceived me….needless to tell you that we, being the progenitor of this generation, compared to my U67 brothers, have that technical experience plus...magically reproduce every kind of sound, frequency, harmonic that our successors don't have...haven't changed many residences...(few but good) I'm currently having a rest comfortably within of a showcase on display. since my current owner is an elderly collector, waiting to resume my career as a "magical" sound reproducer like in the old days... not that I'm picky or touchy, but my dream would be to join of a technical apparatus of a vintage/analogue studio important to give the best of myself and be gratified for my long work experience ….…thanks for your attention and I await your curriculum…..
