ELMO SA-1 Syncro-Sound. Complete kit with mounting system and adapters, in carrying case.

This item was a first for us. A piece of gear that's so odd and unfamiliar that the Colonel didn't even pretend to know anything about it. So, at long last something has finally stumped the chump.

To mark this milestone, we're offering this item *FREE, with only shipping charges. We figure, anyone who actually finds this listing specifically searched for it and thus must be tinkering in the archaic world of analog machines, magnetic tape and cellulose film. Worthy pursuits indeed and most likely undertaken with cool intentions. So call it a show of solidarity from the team at The Colonel of Kentucky.

Near as we can tell from Ebay listings and the attached youtube video (shows playback of a damn-fascinating German film) the SA-1 is a tape-head used to sync tape machines to film projectors.
Prior listings indicate a value of $35-$50 for the SA-1 unit, but kitted with precision mounts, we'd guess possibly $75.

*At Reverb's insistence, FREE = $1.50. (apparent cost of solidarity!)

International buyers- The Colonel is happy to ship this item overseas, but discovered prior $30 rate was not even close to accommodating shipping cost to Australia. Please message to discuss options.
