Rare vintage 50's 17” Kay Jumbo acoustic electric with Kay "thin twin" blade pickup. Beautiful spruce top and mahogany back, sides, and neck. Nut width 1 & 11/16" and 25.5" scale length. Guitar plays and sounds great both acoustically and electric. Kay's take on the Gibson J-200, solid woods and really well built. Big sound with great chime and shimmer for a jumbo, not too boomy, nicely balanced. Original Kluson tuners in really nice shape. Newer plush hard shell case which fits and protects the guitar perfectly. I‘ve owned a number of 50’s Kay jumbos, all very cool guitars, and this has been my favorite. Well packed and insured.
