This 2004 Ernie Ball Music Man Bongo bass is rad y'all. Designed in California in collaboration with BMW Designworks, this super versatile 4 string features 1 single coil, 1 humbucker and Active 4-band equalizer with 18 volt PSU. All that is to say, it has an Amazing range of tone with plenty of boost power to get hot n' heavy should you choose. But I must gush about this neck---super slick and quick with incredible action. I didn't expect it to be so absurdly effortless and many an hour were spent playing when I should have been writing this listing. A pleasure to play.
Cosmetically it is clear that this bass has an interesting history. Either it was played by ol' Eddie Scissorhands or the previous owner mixed LSD with an ice pick in an inspired fit of aural hypothesis. I have heard of people attempting to maximize resonance with a similar technique and I will say, the bass does sound awesome, maybe it worked. Plus Killer Metallic Red with Pearl Guard and Custom Crescent Inlays! Arguably cooler than any other Bongo. Included is the Original Hardshell Case!
