1968 Custom Kraft Ambassador Grover Short Scale Valco Pickup Pro Setup Original Hard Shell case

No, you are not seeing double..We sold one of these just like this one, except it was a short scale model. It was sold lastyear and we were excited to find another Ambassador Groover Guitar!

Its a Super Cool and very RARE 1968 Custom Kraft Model 4174 Short Scale Sunburst Ambassador Groover Guitar with an original very hot Valco Made Pickup. This guitar is all USA hardware and parts and includes the original Hard Shell Case...lets review..

1. It has the Supro Valco made Single Coil Pickup with the cool circle emblems.

2. It has the Supro Valco Bridge

3. It has the Supro Lexington Tailpiece

4. I found this model in one of my Catalog archives. It is a 1968 Custom Kraft Model 4174... They made this model in both red and like this one, in Sunburst..They only made this guitar two years. 1968 and 1969. We identified this one as a 1968 from the Valco Supro Foil serial number on the back of the headstock. See pic 9.

This awesome guitar has really cool original Supro Valco parts. It has a 22 inch scale neck. Super easy play on the excellent neck. The nut measures a wide 1 3/4 inches. All original parts but the pickguard. The original was broken in too many places to salvage. We had our Techs build us a new one that fits this guitar great and looks fantastic! Original knobs and tuners as well!

This guitar has tons of player vibe, looks, and sound...the Valco Supro National Pickup is fat and full of tone... All original parts to include the Kluson tuners, string guide, knobs, Valco Pickup, bridge and tailpiece, pickguard wiring and case!!!!

The guitar has just a few dings and scatches as you would expect from the age of this guitar ..Its in really great shape for its age. This guitar will blow you away with its Huge Tone...If you haven't experienced one of these be prepared to be blown away...These are Sleeper Guitars.....This Guitar is ready to go ....It is truly a magical guitar....It plays like a dream and it sounds even better...... I love these Valco Supro Pickups...They are really really strong!

And....we have the original case! It is whooped but still very serviceable. Accessory box inside and it still has the original handle, latches and hinges. Some Tolex is coming up and some metal trim is missing but all is stable. See pic 13. Nice looking vintage case..…See pics.

The guitar is cool, but used and vintage so it is sold as is no returns. Thanks for respecting that.
