About This Listing

Bach 341-61/2AL Trombone Mouthpiece 6 1/2AL Large Shank Bach mouthpieces are designed to meet every conceivable playing need and have for nearly three quarters of a century. Volume and excellent intonation, ease of response in the high and low register, rich, uniform timbre throughout the range, and resistance calculated to increase the player's endurance - these characteristics explain why the best professional artists choose Bach. Probably the most widely used model in the world. It's brilliant tone is preferred by school musicians and by teachers.

High quality large shank trombone mouthpiece by Bach. Large shank mouthpieces fit in what are sometimes called symphony tenors - horns with a .547" bore like the Bach 42. These are common in the band world, and the most common size among orchestral players. Some jazzers use a big horn too but not many. Bass bones, .560" bore like a Bach 50, accept large shank mouthpieces as well. If your trombone takes a large shank piece, this one's for you.
